Impatience

Impatient for Red Ned to be a functioning space, and yet, how should that be defined?

I am sad when I come here to find that plants have died, or the bathroom that was made is in disrepair due to using the wrong pallets (not heat-treated but chemically treated).

During this time of Covid, we have made progress. The windows were installed in our bedroom on Boxing Day, 2020. All of the kids helped. By the first Melbourne lockdown, March, we were able to sleep in that bedroom. It has been a bonus for us as we can now spend the weekend.

Nick has added walls to the truck house, and formed a bathroom. We have installed four of the most beautiful water tanks and soon, we will have solar power. Meanwhile, I have dug a ditch that now needs to be redirected; planted fruit trees, two of which have died; planted Tasmanian pepper trees and replanted them in Melbourne as they were about to die; and planted more natives. The summer, though it is in La Nina, has been cruel and some plants, including an established plant.

Nick noticed this tiny house built in the tank overflow drainage trench. I wonder how long it took to build. I wonder how long it will take to disintegrate?
